- Begin with massaging the bones of your eye socket with your finger tips reaching down to the bridge of your nose, while keeping your eyes closed. Apply gentle pressure around and keep on repeating this for at least 10 times. This will help in relaxing the eye muscles and preparing them for what's to come next.
- There are two main pressure points around your eyes. One where your eyebrow meets the bridge of your nose, i.e., beneath the brow bone and the other slightly above the arch of your brow, near your temples. Apply gentle pressure on the first mentioned point for a few seconds then do the same to the second.
- With the help of your ring finger slightly press the inner corner of your eyelids, keeping the direction of the pressure towards your nose. Press for a few seconds and then gently release. Repeat this step for at least 5 times. This will help in stimulating the lymphatic nodes and eliminate toxins.
- Massage the area beneath your eyes applying gentle pressure while sliding and lifting your fingers towards your temples and then applying a little more pressure at the end point. This is done so as to flush out the trapped fluid and thus diminish the discolouration as well as the eye bags.
- With the help of your index and middle fingers make three circular movements at the temple, using gentle pressure. The above-given steps are very beneficial for the health of your eyes and in dealing with dark circles.
